Quang Binh Tien Son Cave located in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park will reopen to visitors from December 21 after three years of closure.
On December 18, Phong Nha – Ke Bang Tourism Center said that it will welcome visitors back to Tien Son Cave after the cave has been upgraded and its facilities repaired during the closure.

Tien Son Cave is located in Tram - Me residential area, Phong Nha town, in the service - administrative subdivision of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. This cave is located halfway up the mountain, 200 m from Phong Nha cave entrance, part of the Phong Nha cave system. To visit the cave, visitors must climb 583 steps. The cave is located at an altitude of 200 m above sea level, 120 m above Son River and has a temperature ranging from 18-20 degrees Celsius, cool in summer and warm in winter.
According to documents, Tien Son Cave was discovered by local people in April 1935. The very next day, the then Central Region Ambassador Gzeffeuil visited Tien Son Cave, so people called it "Kham Su Cave". In 1936, French archaeologist Madeleine Colani came to the cave to look for ancient Vietnamese relics in the cave but did not find any. However, Madeleine Colani said that the scenery of Tien Son Cave resembled a fairyland.

In 1999, the British Royal Cave Association conducted a survey of the entire 980.6 m long cave and Quang Binh opened it for tourism on April 9, 2000. The cave has welcomed tens of thousands of visitors each year.
Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center said that during the time Tien Son Cave was closed, the unit renovated the system of paths, stops, check-in photo spots, ecological roofs with native climbing flowers, and rocky mountain flower roads. The "fairyland glass bridge" was newly invested so that visitors can enjoy the view of rice fields, corn fields, and sugarcane fields right at the foot of the mountain. Visitors can take check-in photos at a height of nearly 100 m above the Son River water level and is the first glass bridge in Quang Binh.

The entrance fee to Tien Son Cave is 80,000 VND/trip for visitors 1.3 m or taller, under 1.3 m is free. The boat costs 550,000 VND/round trip, the boat can carry up to 12 people. In case visitors choose to visit Phong Nha and Tien Son Caves, the boat fee is still 550,000 VND/trip.
Visitors can tour the cave with a circular route inside the cave through two separate paths, the length of the entrance is 400 m and the exit is 400 m. Going deep into the cave, visitors can admire the masterpieces from the cave formation process of tens of millions of years, the stalactites of various shapes, see the silver stream, the mysterious cave, the love chamber...
