Meeting of the Steering Committee for Developing the Project to rearrange administrative units according to the Resolution of the Central Executive Committee of the Party

On the afternoon of April 14, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting of the Steering Committee for the Project on not organizing district-level administrative units and merging commune-level administrative units in Bac Ninh province. Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee chaired the meeting.

Conference Overview

At the Conference, after listening to the plan to arrange and reorganize commune-level administrative units and the opinions and discussions of the Steering Committee members, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan agreed that the total number of commune-level administrative units after the arrangement would be reduced by about 60 - 70% in accordance with the spirit of Resolution No. 60 dated April 12, 2025 of the 11th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee.
