Microsoft launches daily AI chatbot assistant Copilot

Microsoft has just launched its daily AI assistant Copilot on Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Edge browser and Bing search engine.

Microsoft Copilot AI assistant will help users interact with technology and improve work productivity. This AI solution will be available for free on Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Edge and Bing.

Microsoft Copilot automatically combines information from websites, work data, and tasks users are performing on their PCs to provide better support while ensuring security and privacy.

Users can use Copilot as an app that pops up when needed, with just a right-click. The first version of this AI assistant will be available in the next update of Windows 11, starting September 26.

The next Windows 11 update will add more than 150 new features that make complex tasks simple. These include new AI-powered features in Paint and Photos, Notepad, Clipchamp, an improved File Explorer, and Narrator with new natural voices for improved recognition and performance. These major improvements will make Windows the destination for the best AI experiences.

The Edge browser and Bing search engine are also getting a bunch of new AI features. These include personalized responses based on chat history, an improved OpenAI DALL.E 3 model in the Bing Image Creator, and the use of cryptography to add a digital signature to all AI-generated images in Bing, along with the time of creation.

Microsoft also announced a number of new experiences and devices to help you get more done, including new Surface devices with new AI enhancements.
