Luu Anh Loan is a guest on episode 31 of the TV show "Artist's Life 2023". She emerged from social media and quickly became one of the most popular and beloved voices in lyrical music.
The 46-year-old singer said she loved music since she was a child but did not have many opportunities to express and realize her dream. After a period of working as a kindergarten teacher, Luu Anh Loan went to Ho Chi Minh City and found a new direction for herself.

She also shared about the time she sang as a "regular" motorbike taxi driver and the salary was only a few tens of thousands of dong.
She started singing in tea rooms and music stages and chose a young music genre to suit the tastes of the audience at that time. But after many years in the profession, she still has not been able to assert herself and make an impression on the public.
After listening to advice from her senior colleagues, she switched to lyrical and folk music and was well received by the audience. At that time, social networks began to develop strongly, becoming a tool to connect people. Grasping the trend, Luu Anh Loan continuously released music products on social networks and became a familiar name to everyone.
"At that time, I thought that if I kept singing to earn money, I wouldn't make much money. If this cycle kept repeating itself, when would the audience know me, when would I be able to support myself and my family with my passion? I thought that I should focus on launching products to win over the audience" - Luu Anh Loan said.
In 2016, she released the album "Tinh ngheo co nhau - Sau tim thiep hong" and received praise from the public. She thought that if she released 100 songs, the audience would know at least 1 to 10 songs and if she released 1,000 songs, the audience would know 100 songs. After 20 years of working, she has released nearly 10,000 songs.
Recalling her early years in the profession, Luu Anh Loan still remembers the scene of running shows by motorbike taxi. Not having enough money to buy many clothes, she rented them to diversify her performance costumes.
"Once, I went to perform in Long An by motorbike and it rained. When I arrived, my ao dai was so wet that it stuck to my body. I had to stand in front of a fan to dry myself before I dared to go on stage. Even though I was cold and shivering, I still had to try my best," Luu Anh Loan recalled.
She added that at that time, her salary was only a few tens of thousands of dong. After deducting living expenses, she saved a small amount and sent it back home to her family. During those years, she was very happy to go to the post office to send money home. In her hometown, neighbors kept asking why their daughter, a singer, couldn't take care of her family while many people only worked as waitresses in coffee shops but built houses and provided for their parents. At that time, she told her mother to wait for her because she wanted to give her family not only money but also pride.
"There is no success without hardship. If your success comes through the right path, it is even more meaningful" - Luu Anh Loan confided.
