In the Top 5 ranking of the Best National Costume by Fan Vote (results updated at 11:45 a.m. on August 2), the design "Bach Lien Van Chi" by designer Nguyen Thai Nhac, performed by contestant Khuat Nguyen Bao Chau, unexpectedly rose to the top. Meanwhile, the two designs "Ngoc Sen Vang" and "My Nhan Me" left the Top 5, making way for the new design "Dien Gio Bac Lieu" by designer Pham Hoang Bao.

Before the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 final, the contest's organizing committee said: "In addition to the Best National Costume title, the contestant with the highest vote score will also receive the opportunity to perform internationally with the winning costume. Specifically, the Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 crown is crafted from 24K gold, combined with 1,276 zirconia diamonds, 330 green emeralds of various sizes and delicately cut.
