The Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 launch event recently took place in Ho Chi Minh City with the presence of Ms. Anne Jakrajutatip - Executive Director of Miss Universe World Organization (MUO) and the reigning Miss Universe 2024 - Victoria Kjær Theilvig.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Valentin Tran - President of Miss Universe Vietnam - emphasized the desire to elevate Vietnamese beauty on the world map: "I have a specific dream - Miss Universe Vietnam will once again reach the pinnacle of achievement like H'Hen Niê did 8 years ago".

2024 marks the return of Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen when she entered the top 30 of Miss Universe after 3 years of absence, and was also in the top 3 of the Best National Costume competition.

At the event, Ms. Anne Jakrajutatip gave many compliments to the professionalism of the organizing committee and had high expectations for the Vietnamese representative: "I hope that Vietnam will continue to bring a proud achievement, entering the global Top 5".

"Miss Universe Vietnam is truly raising Vietnam's position on the global beauty map. I used to talk about the 3 Ps that make a strong Miss Universe organization: Pageant , Platform and Products . But when I met Miss Universe Vietnam, I found another P: People - it is the people who create your outstanding success," Ms. Anne shared.

Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 runner-up Huong Ly, currently serving as the National Director of Miss Universe Vietnam, announced the schedule for this year's contest, including: an online selection round starting on April 18, a live preliminary round on May 17, a semi-final night scheduled for July 16, and a national final on July 19.

Candidates will have the opportunity to receive early training and coaching in the time before the semi-finals and finals.
