Review Venus Shoots Hearts at Mars Episode 34
In episode 34 of "Sao Kim shoots the heart of Sao Hoa," Trang and Dao go to Yen to ask her how she is and learn that Hao has not admitted to having an affair. Yen thinks that her husband is only in debt due to gambling. Hearing Yen's confession, Trang and Dao are very sad and worried about Yen's reaction if she knows the truth. Dao wants to meet Thuong to clarify everything but Trang stops her and advises her to wait for Yen and Hao to resolve it first.
Hao kept his promise, woke up early to prepare breakfast for his wife and children and promised not to play around anymore. He asked Yen out to eat to discuss important matters. Meanwhile, Thuong transferred her daughter to another school, saying it would be more convenient to pick her up and drop her off. This surprised Trang, she guessed that Hao had broken up with Thuong, so Thuong had transferred her daughter to avoid him. When he heard this news, Hao was happy because he thought Thuong had really let him go.
However, things did not go as Hao expected. He arrived at the meeting place early, mentally prepared to confess his mistake, but when Yen appeared, she repeatedly slapped him. It turned out that Yen had known about Hao's affair because the intimate clip of him and Thuong had been spread on social media. She packed her things and decided to leave despite Hao's attempts to hold on. "I will file for divorce," Yen declared, "You can leave Cun here, when I have a stable place to live, I will pick him up."
Hao begged Yen to reconsider for the sake of her son, but Yen could not bear it any longer. She went to Trang's house to stay temporarily and shared her pain of sacrificing so much for her family only to be betrayed in return. Yen cried, blaming herself: "It's no one's fault, it's just me being stupid. I'm stupid, everything was so obvious but I didn't know anything." Seeing Yen's heartache, Dao made an appointment to meet Thuong to confront her.
When meeting Thuong, Dao realized that she was not a gentle person. Dao warned that she would expose the truth so that Thuong would have no way to do business, but Thuong was not afraid and challenged Dao. She even made up a false story to defame Yen and Hao, saying that the couple took advantage of Thuong for money.
Trang appeared when Thuong was about to leave, but instead of getting angry like Dao, Trang was calm and showed Thuong a picture of little Ca Chua. The picture was dark, depicting a lonely girl. Thuong was upset, thinking that Trang was using her daughter to put pressure on her. Trang was not angry at Thuong's attitude, but continued to show her a picture of another girl in a similar situation but always happy. The difference in the two pictures made Thuong think again, realizing that the way she treated Ca Chua had hurt her daughter.
Yen blamed herself for her husband's infidelity. She thought she was not pretty and often scolded. Hearing that, Dao frankly advised Yen to love and take care of herself. Dao took all three of her close friends to get beauty treatments and take care of themselves.
Finally, Yen realized her lesson: she had lived too much for her husband and received nothing in return, only betrayal. The three women had never spent a day alone, and that was why they were not happy. Trang suggested that the three of them go on a vacation to relax. They quickly packed their bags and left.
Meanwhile, Nghiem, Quy and Hao sat down to talk. Hao asked his two friends to help him because he didn't want a divorce, but neither of them could help, because their wives were also angry with them for hiding Hao's affair.
At this moment, Ms. Khanh called to inform her of the news. The three husbands heard that their wives had left, leaving behind letters instructing them to look after their children, and Hao received a divorce petition from Yen.
