Da Nang organizes Food Tour festival with more than 200 typical dishes

On the evening of March 13, the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City organized the introduction of the Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025.

Director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism Truong Thi Hong Hanh said the festival aims to create new tourism products, increase culinary cultural experiences for visitors, and support the promotion of local businesses and culinary establishments.

Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism, informed about Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025.

The festival will open at 7:30 p.m. on March 28 with a special art program and culinary promotion activities such as bartender performances and noodle dances. The festival space includes 7 main culinary areas: Da Nang cuisine, Vietnamese regional cuisine, international cuisine, street food, countryside gift space, countryside market and beer - beverage area.

According to Ms. Hanh, coming to the festival, visitors will enjoy more than 200 typical dishes from traditional dishes of Da Nang such as: Quang noodles, vermicelli with fish sauce, chicken rice, rice paper rolls with pork, to international cuisines from: Korea, Japan, Europe-America, China, India and Thailand.

Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025 received much attention from people and businesses.

In addition, visitors can also experience making dishes such as making banh xeo, making spring rolls, banh it, watching culinary art performances and participating in the program "More than delicious - Hunting for Da Nang flavors, exchanging quality gifts" through collecting culinary stickers and checking in at the festival.

Notably, the highlight of the festival is the chef competition “Da Nang Food Tour – The Chef Competition” taking place on March 29, with the participation of more than 20 professional and amateur chefs. In addition, a culinary-themed Flashmob program with 200 participants dressed as chefs will take place on March 28-29.

The festival also issued 5,000 Danang Food Tour Culinary Passports in Vietnamese and English. Residents and tourists using these passports will enjoy many incentives such as: 10% discount, free food, combo at selected locations... Collecting 10-20-30-40-50 stamps will help tourists exchange for gifts.

Visitors to the festival will enjoy more than 200 typical dishes of Da Nang city.

Along with the festival, the city also organizes many connecting activities such as a special art program celebrating the 50th anniversary of the city's Liberation on the evening of March 29 at March 29 Square, fireworks, the exhibition "Da Nang - 50 years of Development and Integration", and the stimulus program "Enjoy Da Nang - Multi-experience" with a culinary experience package from 499,000 VND.
