Quang Nam police provide information about clip of child being carried upside down and beaten

Initial investigation results show that at around 6:30 p.m. on April 11, immediately after receiving a report from local residents regarding a video clip of child abuse in Que My Commune, Que Son District, Que My Commune Police urgently coordinated with the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Nam Province Police to conduct a crime scene investigation (the classroom of the children's group); temporarily detained and sealed 1 camera memory card, 1 plastic bar and related objects.

At the same time, a working group was sent to coordinate with the family to take NPĐ.K (born in 2023) to the hospital for examination and to determine the injuries. On the night of April 11, Que My Commune Police called and invited Ms. NNUL (born in 2001), the owner of the private kindergarten in Que My Commune and also the person who committed the act of violence against the children as shown in the video clip, to work.

During the urgent investigation, the police initially determined that at around 11:55 a.m. on April 11, at the CC children's group in Que My commune, Ms. L, while watching the children go to bed, abused K and another child, NLHN (born in 2023); threatened the children to stop crying and go to sleep.

The incident was recorded by a camera in the children's classroom. At around 6:30 p.m. the same day, K's parents posted it on Facebook and reported it to the police. At the police station, Ms. L admitted all the wrongdoings.

The case is being investigated and handled by the Office of the Criminal Police Department of Quang Nam Province in coordination with professional units and Que My Commune Police.
