Mr. Tran Minh Nhan - Vice Chairman of Thoi Binh District People's Committee (Ca Mau Province) said: "With the meaning of educating the tradition of patriotism, deep gratitude to the Hung Kings and ancestors who built and defended the country, arousing the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and the strength of great national unity.
Through the Hung Kings Commemoration Festival, we aim to honor the values of the Hung Kings era and promote tourism development in the district. At the same time, the Festival is also a spiritual destination for visitors from near and far, connecting sightseeing and tourism activities, creating conditions for exchange and introducing the characteristics, cultural identity, and local tourism products.
Next, on April 24, in the Event Program "Ca Mau - Destination 2025", Ca Mau province held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking the Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea as a special national monument (Ben Vam Lung - Ca Mau province), at the Ben Vam Lung relic (Hamlet 8, Rach Goc town, Ngoc Hien district).
The ceremony will take place with many meaningful activities such as extracurricular activities for union members and students at Ben Vam Lung Relic Site, creating opportunities for the younger generation to learn and be proud of the nation's historical traditions. At the same time, the scene will be recreated of the ships transporting weapons from the North to the South during the resistance war against the US. In particular, the tragic sacrifice of the soldiers who were ready to blow up the ship to protect the secret of the Ho Chi Minh trail at sea.
This is not only artistic but also a way to show gratitude and commemorate the contributions of fallen soldiers, helping today's generation understand more about the heroic history of the country.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province requested that all levels, sectors and localities must be proactive in coordinating to carefully prepare for the Gratitude Ceremony to the National Ancestor Lac Long Quan; the Hung Kings' Commemoration Festival; and the Ceremony to receive the Certificate of ranking the Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea as a special national monument.
"Events must be organized solemnly, ensuring practical significance, safety and bringing a joyful and exciting atmosphere to the people. At the same time, propaganda work must be stepped up to arouse the tradition of patriotism and national pride," Mr. Luan emphasized.
“Through a series of unique cultural events taking place in April, we not only contribute to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, but also create opportunities to promote tourism potential, open up economic connectivity opportunities, attract investment and develop local product brands. This is an opportunity for tourists to explore and experience the unique cultural beauty of Ca Mau land,” added the Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ca Mau province.
The Hung Kings Temple (Giao Khau Hamlet, Tan Phu Commune, Thoi Binh District, Ca Mau Province) was established nearly 200 years ago and is a sacred cultural, spiritual and religious site for the people. Every year, on the occasion of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Festival (March 10th of the lunar calendar), many people gather to commemorate and express gratitude for the contributions of the Hung Kings who founded the country. In 2011, the temple was recognized as a provincial historical and cultural relic.
