The program includes songs that “go with the years” such as: “Cau ho ben Hien Luong”, “Xa khoi”, “Tinh ca”, “Hello em co gai Lam Hong”, “Bai ca khong quen”, “Tinh em”, “Truong Son dong, Truong Son tay”… performed by artists who have gone through bombs and bullets on the battlefield such as People’s Artists Thu Hien, Thanh Hoa, Quang Tho, Trung Duc,… and young artists: People’s Artist Quoc Hung, People’s Artist Pham Phuong Thao, People’s Artist Hong Hanh, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Viet Danh, Thai Thuy Linh, Bao Yen (Sao Mai), Tien Hung, Trung Sy, Phuc Dai…

Also participating in the program are the groups Thoi Gian, Phuong Nam, Thang Tu and the Contemporary Dance Group and Huyen Trung Band.

People's Artist Thu Hien said that she followed the soldiers to all the battlefields, such as in 1967-1968, she and the Northwest army performed to encourage the fighting spirit of the soldiers and people on the central frontline against the US; in 1972, she and the Tay Nguyen art troupe performed at the moment of Quang Tri liberation; in 1975, she and the Central Ethnic Music Group performed at the milestone of Hue city liberation... All the important historical milestones marked People's Artist Thu Hien's spiritual dedication to the soldiers and people on the battlefield.

As one of the artists participating in the Truong Son Memories music night, People's Artist Quoc Hung expressed his excitement at returning to the heroic musical atmosphere.

He said: "My father was a soldier of Uncle Ho, one of the soldiers who participated in the resistance war against the US to save the country, fighting for more than 10 years at the Khe Sanh front, Quang Tri. My father was luckier than many of his comrades because he was later able to return home despite his physical condition. But after a while, the greatest wounded soldier in my heart left his family to reunite with his beloved comrades when I was only 13 years old. Therefore, to sing in praise of the heroes, martyrs, and soldiers who fought to protect the homeland on the special occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, for me, is to sing with my own emotions, for my father, for his comrades, for the heroes who fought to protect the fatherland", People's Artist Quoc Hung expressed.

Singer Thai Thuy Linh has loved revolutionary music since she was a child, so the "revolutionary" spirit and revolutionary songs have been in her blood. Participating in the program, Thai Thuy Linh shared: "Participating in this program is an honor and pride for me. I will sing with all my heart. The heroic revolutionary songs, the works associated with a glorious period will be sung in a new style so that not only the generation born before 1975 but also many young people today still love them."
