Installing nearly 200 artistic lighting lights for Ba Son Bridge

(Dan Tri) - Ba Son Bridge (HCMC) is being installed with an artistic lighting system after more than 2 years of being "cold" and lacking highlights, even though it is considered a new symbol of the city.

Ba Son Bridge, connecting District 1 (HCMC) with Thu Thiem area (Thu Duc City), was completed in April 2022. However, the bridge still lacks an artistic lighting system, only illuminated by street lights, making it dim at night compared to the hustle and bustle of both sides of the Saigon River.

In recent days, part of the road on Ba Son bridge has been barricaded so that dozens of workers can install an artistic lighting system.

On the afternoon of December 25, workers continued to set up fences and transport materials to construct more than 200 lighting systems on Ba Son Bridge.

The Ba Son Bridge art lighting project, invested by Dai Quang Minh Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company, is expected to be completed before December 31.

Mr. Van Thanh, a technical staff, said that 2 cranes and about 20 workers are needed to complete the decorative lighting system for Ba Son Bridge.

Workers are installing lighting systems on the cable legs of Ba Son Bridge.

The locations for installing the lights are quite dangerous, so workers have to use a crane to work outside the bridge.

Ba Son Bridge has a unique architecture and is expected to become a new symbol of Ho Chi Minh City after completing the artistic lighting system.

After 2 days of construction, the lighting system on both sides of the bridge has been basically completed, while some locations are still being completed.

Technical staff are fully equipped with protective gear to work in dangerous positions on the bridge.

Mr. Huu Tai was excited to learn that Ba Son Bridge is being installed with an artistic lighting system, hoping to create a new look for the city.

The lighting system on both sides of the bridge has been installed, some final steps on the electrical system will be completed in the coming days.

As committed, the Ba Son Bridge lighting system will be completed and put into operation from December 31, in time to create a new highlight for Ho Chi Minh City on Countdown night 2025.
