On January 12 in Hau Giang province, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man visited and presented gifts to 100 policy households, poor people, people in especially difficult circumstances, ethnic minorities in Chau Thanh A district, and 10 armed forces soldiers in difficult circumstances in Thanh Xuan commune, Chau Thanh A district.
On the same day, he also visited and gave Tet gifts to workers of Giap Quan Thang One Member Limited Liability Company in Long An B Hamlet, Cai Tac Town, Chau Thanh A District.

Previously, on January 11 in Tra Vinh province, the National Assembly Chairman presented Tet gifts to policy families, poor households, near-poor households, ethnic minorities, officers and soldiers at My Long Border Guard Station, My Long commune, Cau Ngang district. He requested Party committees and authorities at all levels to pay attention to and take care of policy families, poor households, the poor, disadvantaged groups and ethnic minorities. At the same time, he encouraged policy families, poor households and the poor to strive to overcome difficulties, actively compete in labor and production, gradually stabilize and improve the quality of life.
On January 11, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh visited and presented gifts to poor households, near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances, meritorious people, the elderly, border guards, workers and laborers in Thai Thuy, Tien Hai and Dong Hung districts (Thai Binh province).
At the places visited and presented gifts, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly affirmed that over the years, the Party and State have always paid special attention to social security work for the people, especially poor households, near-poor households, meritorious people, workers and laborers every time Tet comes and Spring comes with the motto "No one is left behind", all people can have a full and happy Tet.
On the occasion of the New Year, the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly sent his warm regards and wishes to all the people, cadres, soldiers, workers, laborers and enterprises of Thai Binh province to have a warm, peaceful and happy New Year, continue to promote the achieved results, strive to overcome difficulties and challenges, enthusiastically compete in labor and production, complete assigned tasks, contribute to the socio-economic development of the province and the country; strive to build Thai Binh into an exemplary province in all aspects as instructed by President Ho Chi Minh during his visits.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also requested that the Party Committees, authorities, Fatherland Fronts at all levels of Thai Binh province and the business community continue to pay attention to and do better in social security work, taking care of poor households, near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances, and people with revolutionary contributions, focusing on implementing the program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025. In addition, trade unions and businesses pay attention to and take care of workers, ensuring that workers and laborers have good conditions and a safe working environment to concentrate on work, production, and strong business development.

On January 10, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and the Government delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to families with meritorious services, poor households, and workers in difficult circumstances in Thu Dau Mot City (Binh Duong Province). He expressed his joy at learning that Binh Duong is the first province in the country to have no poor households according to the general standard; the average income per capita of nearly 181.2 million VND is among the highest in the country.
In 2024, Binh Duong province completed the goal of building 8,000 social housing units for workers and is focusing on building about 20,000 more social housing units for low-income workers in 2025.
The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that the province continue to have specific policies to develop social housing with full infrastructure, cultural and social institutions, education, health care, etc., ensuring security and order, and fighting against social evils so that workers and laborers can have a safe, healthy, joyful and happy life.
Also on January 10, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visited and wished a Happy New Year to officers and soldiers of the Phu Tho Provincial Military Command; presented gifts to meritorious people and policy families in the province on the occasion of the Spring of At Ty 2025. She emphasized the necessity of connecting the military and people in social security activities, building new rural areas and eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.
