Terra Cotta Workshop is located on the road from Hoi An ancient town to Thanh Chiem citadel (Dien Ban). This space encapsulates the passion of the excellent artisan Le Duc Ha.
Terra Cotta Workshop was designed, built and completed in 2016. The project has also won many prestigious international architectural awards and has appeared in major magazines around the world.
The entire project consists of 3 floors, the outside is made of bricks meticulously woven together to capture sunlight and wind, the inside is a wooden shelf system to display unique works by the excellent artisan Le Duc Ha, and at the same time display some porcelain works left by Mr. Le Tuat (Mr. Ha's father).
A notable highlight of Terra Cotta Workshop is a large wood-burning stove. This stove is about 5m high, 5m wide, and is nearly 20 years old.
When there is enough stock and pre-orders are completed, the factory will put it into the kiln. Usually, it takes 1-2 months to put it into the kiln. When there is a large quantity of stock needed and the orders are favorable, the factory will fire it once a month.

According to Ms. Kim Ngan - the guide of Terra Cotta Workshop, the factory used to be covered with corrugated iron, and was heavily affected during the rainy and stormy season. Over time, many areas have been repaired and renovated. The large wood stove is kept as the heart of the entire project, connecting the past - present - future.
Visitors to Terra Cotta Workshop can also participate in the experience of making terracotta and freely create products with their own personal mark. An experience set will include 1 part of well-wrapped, soft clay, 1 part of tools, and 1 part of pouring paste.
From these tools, visitors can freely mold, chisel, carve, emboss, draw letters, etc. So that when leaving the terracotta workshop, everyone is excited and nostalgic to bring home a souvenir created by themselves.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang - Vice Chairman of Dien Ban Town People's Committee said that this is a destination in the chain of destinations of Dien Phuong ward.
Hopefully in the near future, when the Hoi An - Dien Ban - Duy Xuyen tourism connection is implemented, the destination will have more and more tourists visiting the workshop to clearly feel the cultural flow - unique craft villages of the residents along the Thu Bon River.
