This is a project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dien Ban Liberation Day (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025), the 95th anniversary of Dien Ban Party Committee's founding (April 5, 1930 - April 5, 2025) and the 10th anniversary of the town's founding (2015 - 2025).

On February 3, 1930, the Communist Party of Vietnam was established; on March 28, 1930, the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee was established; on April 5, 1930, the first Communist Party of Vietnam cell of Dien Ban district was established in Bat Nhi village, Dien Phuoc commune, including 3 comrades with Mr. Nguyen Thanh as Secretary.

Dien Ban became the locality that established the party organization early in the province as well as in the whole country. The establishment of the Party cell became a particularly important political event, marking the patriotic and revolutionary movement in Dien Ban from then on under the direct leadership of the party organization.

After its establishment, despite being closely monitored and hunted by the enemy, with wisdom and courage, Mr. Nguyen Thanh and his comrades in the Party cell both led the revolutionary movement and actively worked to propagate and enlighten the patriotic masses; brought the masses into the Red Peasant Association and Red Labor Union, and members were challenged and assigned tasks, later becoming Party members.

By July 1930, Dien Ban had 5 Party cells and established the Provincial Party Committee, opening a new base for the heroic and steadfast revolutionary land.

Mr. Phan Minh Dung - Secretary of Dien Ban Town Party Committee affirmed that over the past 95 years, Dien Ban Party Committee has continuously developed, leading the army and people to fight and gain many glorious victories in the resistance war to save the country and in the period of building and defending the Fatherland.

From a party cell with 3 party members, up to now, Dien Ban Town Party Committee has 66 affiliated party organizations with nearly 7,200 party members, becoming a leading force in many fields, affirming its leadership capacity and fighting strength through great achievements in building Dien Ban homeland to develop more and more.

“The relic of the establishment of the first Party cell of Dien Ban has extremely important revolutionary historical significance, closely associated with the birth, growth and development of the district Party Committee and the development of Dien Ban town today.

This is not only a place to mark historical milestones but also shows the gratitude of today's generation to revolutionary predecessors; contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism and revolutionary heroism for today's and future generations" - Mr. Phan Minh Dung emphasized.

The stele marking the establishment of the first Communist Party of Vietnam cell in Dien Ban was built in Nhi Dinh 2 village, Dien Phuoc commune on an area of ^{​​2,000m2} , with a total investment of nearly 1.9 billion VND.
