As a member of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers (TNXP) of the province and the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs (HTGĐLS) of Binh Phuoc province, we clearly see the benevolence of Mr. Do Van Cac since he was the Chairman of the Association of Former Youth Volunteers of Phu Rieng district and is currently the Chairman of the Association of Supporting Families of Martyrs of the province. In addition to regularly mobilizing and contributing to buy gifts for people in difficult circumstances on holidays, Tet, and the Lunar New Year every year, he and his teammates gather at his house to wrap Chung cakes to give to members, poor families, and Agent Orange victims and offer them at the Hung King Temple. Each gift and cake that his family gives to the poor and those who have contributed to the country shows a heart full of humanity and affection for the community.

Up to now, all martyrs’ cemeteries in the province have his footprints every time a martyr’s family member comes to Binh Phuoc to request to transfer their ancestors’ remains back to their homeland. At such times, his family’s house is the place where the martyrs’ family members stay. From food to transportation, Mr. Cac has arranged everything carefully.

He did not live for himself alone. He lived for the past, for the present, for the families of war invalids and martyrs, for those who died for the independence and unification of the country. Human love and village affection were his most noble qualities. He always shared, helped and accompanied the families whose loved ones died in the war through the ages.

The Binh Phuoc Province Martyrs' Association, chaired by Mr. Cac, has for many years coordinated with Team K72, the Political Department, and the Binh Phuoc Province Military Command to search for and collect many martyrs' remains to cemeteries in the province.

“I am always concerned about the activities of gratitude to martyrs. Although I try very hard, I have not been able to meet all the requirements. I think that while I still have the strength and resources, I will continue to take care of the movement and activities of the association in accordance with the purpose and name of the Provincial Association of Martyrs and Martyrs,” Mr. Do Van Cac shared.

His wife, Ms. Dong Thi Binh, is currently the Head of the Liaison Committee of the Women War Veterans Association of Phu Rieng Commune, a member of the Executive Committee of the Women War Veterans Association of Phu Rieng District, and the Head of the Senior Citizens Association of Phu Tan Village, Phu Rieng Commune. Ms. Binh always maintains close links between associations and organizations in the commune to support and help each other build and develop the family's economic life.

She said that the Women's Veterans' Association Fund currently has 100 million VND to support intergenerational members with loans for production, trading, gardening and livestock raising. Many members use the loan capital from the Association for the right purposes, achieving efficiency and improving their family's economic life. Every year, she and her husband also mobilize their children and grandchildren to support 70 to 80 gifts for the elderly and families with difficult policies.

The house of the grandparents warms many unfortunate, weak, sick and poor people. The house is both an office and a meeting place for noble humanitarian work in gratitude to martyrs in the province and the whole country. This place is also a place to organize art, sports and physical training for the elderly and Mrs. Binh is the person in charge, always present in cultural movement activities.
