Comrade Le Quoc Minh shared the difficulties and challenges that Bac Kan Newspaper is facing. At the same time, he shared some experiences of Nhan Dan Newspaper in converting the press digitally. According to him, the innovations of a Party newspaper with the biggest name and a stable history of over 70 years of operation like Nhan Dan Newspaper prove that "Nothing is impossible".
With the strong application of digital technology in its operations, in a short time, Nhan Dan Newspaper has launched many new products bearing the mark of digital transformation. In particular, Nhan Dan Online Newspaper has made breakthrough innovations in speed, content quality, and presentation format; strongly applied technology to journalism activities; promoted news distribution on platforms and social networks, following the motto "Where there are People, there is Nhan Dan Newspaper".
From practical experience, comrade Le Quoc Minh affirmed: Local party newspapers need to change promptly. Currently, the number of newspaper staff is decreasing, while the workload of the editorial office is increasing following the trend of providing multimedia press products. This poses many challenges for local party newspapers when they have to restructure the apparatus and change the way of making newspapers. However, if something good can be done for the locality, beneficial to the propaganda task, it is necessary to resolutely implement it to change old, outdated habits and ways. First of all, it is necessary to innovate right from the thinking of leaders and heads of units. Then, spread the determination of leaders to cadres and reporters, using propaganda effectiveness as a measure.
