Horse racing held for the first time at Da Lat Flower Festival

According to the People's Committee of Lac Duong district, within the framework of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival, Lac Duong district will organize a series of special events to promote culture, tourism and the image of local people.

Accordingly, many cultural and sports activities will be held in the district in the coming time. In particular, the focus will be from November 22 to December 27, 2024.

The highlight of the program is the 6th Lang Biang Pink Grass Festival, with special activities such as the performance of Ao Dai and floral dresses by ethnic girls.

Besides, there is also the event of conquering Lang Biang peak and especially the first bareback horse race held, promising to bring new experiences to visitors.

Other outstanding activities include: Displaying miniature landscapes at the pink grass hill; Promoting OCOP products; Lang Biang Acoustic Music Night; Lang Biang Rose Festival and Can Wine Culinary Competition...

Mr. Cil Poh, Vice Chairman of Lac Duong District People's Committee, said that the event not only aims to respond to the Flower Festival but also honor traditional cultural values, raise awareness of heritage conservation associated with sustainable tourism .

This is also an opportunity to promote tourism potential, attract investment and promote local socio -economic development.

Currently, Lac Duong District People's Committee strictly directs the organization, ensures security and order, environmental sanitation and maximizes community participation. Thereby, affirming the role of socialization in sustainable tourism development.
