Provincial leaders' representatives received citizens on April 18, 2025.

Attending the TCD were Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Hai Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Department Nguyen Minh Trieu, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department Nguyen Huu Kim, and representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial People's Committee Office, Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council, Provincial Inspectorate, Provincial TCD Committee, Provincial People's Court, Provincial Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, Department of Agriculture and Environment; representatives of the Ben Tre City People's Committee and Ba Tri District People's Committee.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Ho Thi Hoang Yen listened to representatives of leaders of departments, branches and localities briefly report on the situation and progress of resolving cases that have been directed by provincial leaders. At the same time, she directed departments and localities to continue explaining and guiding people to understand.

1. In the case of Mr. Huynh Van Minh (Mo Cay town, Mo Cay Nam district), the complaint about the calculation of interest on late execution of judgment (THA) by Vietnam Construction Joint Stock Commercial Bank - Ben Tre Branch (currently the Digital Technology Foreign Trade Bank) is not consistent with the judgment of Ben Tre Provincial People's Court (appellate trial).

Mr. Huynh Van Minh and his wife, Ms. Tang Phuoc Diem, are the ones who must pay the debt in the loan dispute; they do not agree to pay the debt and request the Department of Debt Collection and Sewerage of Mo Cay Nam district to temporarily suspend the seizure on June 28, 2024 to wait for the results of his complaint. In this case, the Department of Debt Collection and Sewerage of the province has sent a document requesting the Provincial People's Court to explain the content of calculating the interest rate for late debt collection and has received a written response from the Provincial People's Court and representatives of the banks.

At the TCD meeting, representatives of the provincial THADS Department and representatives of the Digital Technology Foreign Trade Bank approached and explained to Mr. Minh. After this meeting, the bank's representatives will discuss with the customers (Mr. Minh, Ms. Diem) to agree on a debt repayment method with interest rates in accordance with current legal regulations.

2. The case of Mr. Nguyen Van Co and Ms. Doan Thi Thao (Chau Hoa commune, Giong Trom district), complained about debt disputes. The provincial THADS agency coordinated with the provincial TCD Board to continue explaining and asking them to comply with the law.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Ho Thi Hoang Yen reminded: For cases that have been resolved by the Provincial People's Committee and competent authorities according to legal regulations, relevant agencies continue to coordinate with local authorities to continue to propagate and mobilize people to comply with regulations.
