Mr. Phan Dinh Trac presented the Politburo's decision appointing Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An to the position of Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee.

This afternoon (March 31), the Standing Committee of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee held a conference of key officials of the whole province to implement the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

At the conference, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, announced the Politburo's decision to appoint Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Phu Yen province, as Secretary of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee. Thus, Ms. An became the first female Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of this province.

Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An was born in 1973, from Dien An commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province. Ms. An has a professional qualification of Master of Education Management, and a political qualification of Senior Political Theory.

Before being appointed as Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Cao Thi Hoa An worked at the Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Phu Yen Provincial Youth Union, Chairwoman of Phu Yen Provincial Women's Union; Head of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; Secretary of Dong Hoa District Party Committee; Head of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of Phu Yen Provincial People's Council.
