Previously, a clip appeared on Facebook showing a young man assaulting a female delivery worker. Not only that, the young man knocked over a delivery cart and ran into the house to get a machete and threatened to slash the female delivery worker. The incident only stopped when people nearby discovered it and ran to stop it. The incident was filmed by people and posted on social media. After the clip was posted, it attracted thousands of views, causing a stir in public opinion. It is known that the incident occurred on the afternoon of October 30.
According to the leader of the Ea Kao Commune People's Committee, after receiving the incident, the Commune Police invited the young man and the delivery person to the headquarters to clarify. The cause of the incident was due to a conflict between the young man and the female delivery staff over the delivery and receipt of goods and the transfer of money during the delivery. "The Ea Kao Commune Police asked the female delivery staff to go to a medical facility for examination and to determine the extent of the injury. If the injury is at the level of criminal prosecution, the Commune Police will transfer the case to the Buon Ma Thuot City Police for investigation; if the injury is minor, a file will be established to administratively punish this young man," the leader of the Ea Kao Commune People's Committee informed.
