The People's Committee of Chau Duc district (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) has just issued a document requesting the implementation of the inspection conclusion of the District Inspectorate on the incident at Anh Duong Kindergarten.
Chairman of Chau Duc District People's Committee Nguyen Tan Ban signed a document requesting Ms. Phan Thi Han Hue (school principal) to review and accept disciplinary action based on the shortcomings and limitations pointed out in the inspection conclusion, and send the review to the Department of Internal Affairs. At the same time, Ms. Hue must also develop a plan to implement the inspection conclusion, seriously organize and fully and promptly implement the recommendations of the District Inspector General, and report the results.
Chau Duc District also requested the Department of Internal Affairs to advise on procedures to organize a review of the responsibility of Ms. Phan Thi Han Hue for the shortcomings and limitations pointed out in the inspection conclusion.

Before the inspection results were announced, Ms. Phan Thi Han Hue submitted a resignation letter to the Chau Duc District People's Committee. The reason she gave was that she was under too much pressure, her health was not good, and she had to continue treatment. Ms. Hue said that she did not seek personal gain, but that she had not given timely direction in the matter of publicizing activities, leading to a lack of internal solidarity.
It is known that Ms. Hue's application has not yet been considered. The consideration will be carried out after Ms. Hue has resolved all the recommendations of the inspection team, as well as received the form of review and handling of responsibilities according to regulations.
Previously, after the controversy related to the lunch of teachers at Anh Duong Kindergarten which cost 30,000 VND but only had 2 pieces of ham, Chau Duc district decided to conduct a comprehensive inspection of this school.
After the inspection period, the inspection team pointed out the shortcomings, limitations and shortcomings in the school's operations such as the implementation of democratic regulations, income increase, implementation of labor contracts, financial transparency...

The Chief Inspector of Chau Duc District has recommended that the school principal organize a thorough handling of the limitations and shortcomings. In particular, the principal is required to publicly disclose and refund more than VND 18 million to teachers and employees who paid for lunch from September 2023 to May 2024; publicly disclose and refund more than VND 5 million for summer lunch in 2024; and recover the amount that the school paid in excess of working days to a teacher during the school year. At the same time, handle and refund more than VND 25 million of the remaining amount in the summer of 2024 in accordance with regulations.
Chau Duc District Inspectorate also recommended that the Chairman of the District People's Committee handle the responsibility of Ms. Phan Thi Han Hue in her role as school principal and individuals related to the limitations and shortcomings according to the conclusion of the district inspectorate.
