Lost in the fruit capital of the Southeast region

On the evening of June 12, the opening ceremony of the Long Khanh Fruit Festival 2024 took place in Dong Nai. The festival attracted tens of thousands of people to come and have fun, buy fruit, visit booths... This is the 6th time Long Khanh has organized a fruit festival.

The highlight of this year is the program honoring fruits and OCOP products. The festival will take place throughout June at gardens and tourist facilities.

The festival has 60 booths displaying and selling rambutan, durian, avocado, jackfruit, mangosteen, OCOP products...

In addition, there are also introductions to destinations, tourist gardens... This year, there are also tourism associations of 9 provinces in the East and Central Highlands participating in the Southeast Culture - Tourism - Cuisine Festival of the festival.

Mr. Tang Quoc Lap, Vice Chairman of Long Khanh City People's Committee, said that Long Khanh is known as the "fruit capital of the Southeast region", with an area of ​​more than 7,300 hectares of fruit trees.

At this year's fruit festival, locals and tourists can enjoy 2,300kg of rambutan for free right on the festival grounds.

Children are also brought to the festival by their parents to enjoy the fruit and the joyful atmosphere of the festival.

Many tourists buy ripe fruit in the garden, delicious with the unique flavor of Long Khanh land.

According to the reporter's records, because there were traffic control forces, parking lots prepared, and people were guided to where to park, the roads around the festival site were not congested and were quite clear.

Traffic police, security, military, medical forces... were also present to ensure security, order, and traffic safety for the festival to take place safely.
