After more than 2 weeks in Mexico to participate in sideline activities and go through many sub-competitions, 125 contestants of Miss Universe 2024 entered the final round taking place at the CDMX arena, Mexico, on November 17 (Vietnam time).
Vietnam's representative this year is Miss Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen. She was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam in September. The beauty born in 1996 is 1.76m tall and measures 86-60-94cm.

Ky Duyen was crowned Miss Vietnam 2014 before winning the right to compete in Miss Universe 2024. She once expressed that the Miss Universe stage was a dream she had cherished for 10 years.
After 2 years of Vietnam failing to place in the top 10 at Miss Universe, fans expect Ky Duyen to make a difference at this year's contest, even though before the finals, many beauty sites did not predict her to be in the top 10.

The Miss Universe 2024 finals are expected to be fiercely competitive this year due to the large number of contestants. This year’s contest accepts transgender contestants, married contestants, contestants who have given birth, and especially does not limit the age of contestants.
