Klook Appoints New Managing Director for Vietnam Market

Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang joins Klook with over 20 years of experience in market research, business consulting, business development and e-commerce platform management.

Over the past 2 years, Mr. Hoang worked as Senior Vice President (SVP) to develop FMCG categories as well as LazMall platform for Lazada Vietnam, then Chief Business Officer of OnPoint - the leading e-commerce support service company in Southeast Asia.

In Vietnam, Klook currently offers thousands of experiences and activities across three categories: Play, Stay, and Move across major destinations. Thanks to its persistent efforts during the Covid-19 period, Klook has achieved extraordinary growth in the domestic travel sector and the company is expected to achieve a remarkable growth in 2022, by 150% compared to before the Covid-19 pandemic.

Klook currently offers over 530,000 curated experiences and activities in over 1,700 destinations globally. Between Q4 2022 and Q1 2023 alone, Klook recorded a 30% growth, indicating that more and more Vietnamese people are using the Klook app to book their overseas trips.

In addition, Klook partners with DMOs (destination marketing organizations) in Vietnam and the region to bring Vietnamese travelers the latest and greatest experiences at overseas destinations, helping them book their travel seamlessly and thereby enjoy their vacation to the fullest.
