Check and process information about pressing issues and incidents

(HNMO) - Hanoi City People's Committee issued Document No. 1822/UBND-TH dated June 15, 2023 on checking and handling press information reflecting urgent issues and incidents related to the city.

The document stated that on June 9, 2023, the City Party Committee Office issued Official Dispatch No. 2434-CV/VPTU conveying the direction of the City Party Committee Secretary on pressing issues and incidents in the city reported by the press according to Report No. 545-CV/BTGTU dated May 25, 2023 of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

Regarding this matter, the Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Directors and Heads of agencies and units to direct the inspection, clarify information and handle issues reported by the press according to legal regulations.

Specifically, the Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with the Dong Da District People's Committee to inspect and handle the information: "Like sitting on a "fire" because Nga Tu So market is degraded"; Gia Lam District People's Committee to inspect and handle the information: "Hanoi: A series of uncovered fiber optic cable pits "trap" passersby".

The Department of Planning and Investment inspected and processed the information "Hanoi: Why has the T'Hospital Project not been able to be built yet?". The Department of Industry and Trade presided over and coordinated with the People's Committee of Nam Tu Liem District to clarify the information: "Hanoi: The 18 billion VND public market project was abandoned for 6 years after completion".

The Department of Construction presided over and coordinated with the People's Committee of Soc Son district; the People's Committee of Gia Lam district, the People's Committee of Bac Tu Liem district to inspect and handle the information: "Soc Son, Hanoi: Illegal construction activities recur widely"; "Hanoi: Question marks in land management at the Phu Dong Green Park project"; "Hanoi: Need to clarify many signs of violations of construction order in Bac Tu Liem district".

The City People's Committee assigned units and localities to report the results of inspection and handling to the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the City People's Committee before June 25, 2023, and to respond to the press according to regulations.
