On January 14, a source from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee said that this agency had just sent an official dispatch to the district party committees of 11 mountainous districts of the province, including: Muong Lat, Quan Hoa, Quan Son, Ba Thuoc, Lang Chanh, Ngoc Lac, Thuong Xuan, Nhu Xuan, Nhu Thanh, Thach Thanh and Cam Thuy - requesting the district party committees' standing committees to direct the inspection of enrollment work in ethnic minority boarding secondary schools from the 2021-2022 school year to present.

The official dispatch of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee stated: Recently, there has been information reflecting that ethnic minority boarding secondary schools in mountainous districts have recruited students not in accordance with regulations.

In order for the enrollment work to be carried out strictly in accordance with Party regulations and State laws, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee requests the Standing Committees of the District Party Committees of the above districts to implement a number of contents.

Direct the District People's Committee to review the implementation of enrollment work for grade 6 of ethnic minority boarding secondary schools from the 2021-2022 school year to present.

Focusing on clarifying the enrollment process, assigned enrollment quotas, number of students registered for enrollment, number of students admitted correctly, number of students admitted incorrectly according to regulations, and violations in enrollment (if any).

Direct the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee to conduct inspections, review, and strictly handle party organizations and party members with shortcomings and violations (if any) in the work of enrolling students in grade 6 of the ethnic minority boarding secondary school; report the results to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

Previously, in November 2022 and May 2024, Tuoi Tre Online had many articles reflecting on violations in enrollment at Quan Hoa Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities and Muong Lat Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Thanh Hoa province.

After that, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee inspected the party organization and party members involved in the enrollment work for signs of violations and took disciplinary measures according to Party regulations.
