TPO - On December 18, in Hanoi, the Center for Knowledge Transfer and Startup Support, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (CSK) held the launching ceremony of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi Startup and Innovation Incubator.
This is a business model under the CSK Center, with the goal of supporting technology incubation, developing spin-off businesses, and starting businesses right from university.
Speaking at the ceremony, Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) Le Quan congratulated the Center for Knowledge Transfer and Startup Support for realizing the idea and establishing the VNU Startup and Innovation Incubator.
According to him, every scientist and every student needs to develop their own ideas for researching products with the goal of bringing added value, creating value for society, and creating job opportunities for the community.
“To realize these ideas, there needs to be a forum that connects businesses, management experts, scientists and students, with the goal of managing operations, building new businesses and corporations, and bringing research products from the lab to the market. The selected research products need to be closely linked to practice, commercializable and create values for society,” said Professor Le Quan.
He also emphasized that the Startup and Innovation Incubator is also a trusted address where scientists and students share projects and ideas, a bridge to support the spirit of daring to think and do, seizing learning opportunities, building strategies, and bringing scientific products to serve the community.
VNU Director Le Quan also expressed his hope that in the coming time, CSK will seek and support key research topics, invest in and develop projects that can be applied, and connect businesses with scientists to bring knowledge research to market.
