The “Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces” award is the most prestigious award of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union with the purpose of honoring typical young people with outstanding achievements, creating a wide spread in the community about their efforts and striving to excel in the fields of study, scientific research, physical education, sports, production labor, national defense, etc.

Acting President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy presented symbols to 10 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces of 2023.

The typical and promising young Vietnamese faces of 2023 are typical examples with impressive achievements, strongly inspiring; including students such as: Dinh Cao Son, Gold Medalist of the 2023 Chemistry Olympiad, student of Hanoi National University of Education; Dang Cat Tien, student of Thai Nguyen Secondary School, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province; Pham Viet Hung, student of High School for Gifted Students of Natural Sciences, Hanoi National University - currently a student of the University of Chicago (USA); Nguyen Tuan Phong, student of Bac Ninh High School for Gifted Students, Bac Ninh Province (currently a student of Hanoi University of Science and Technology); Le Van Phuc, student of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City National University, Head of the Fly To Sky Charity Group...

At the Commendation Ceremony, typical and promising faces who are students shared about their youthful dreams and aspirations.

Outstanding Young Vietnamese Face 2023 Dinh Cao Son shared that he dreams of becoming a teacher. His goal is to continue studying, practicing, and improving his knowledge of Chemistry to continue conquering new heights of knowledge.

According to Nguyen Tuan Phong, the first student from Bac Ninh province to win the Gold Medal at the Physics Olympiad, to have the key to better study science subjects in general and Physics in particular, each student needs to have a firm grasp of basic knowledge, build a solid foundation, from there develop thinking and find new directions.

Dang Cat Tien, a student at Thai Nguyen Secondary School, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province, expressed that she was honored to participate in the first Children's National Assembly session in 2023 as Chairwoman of the Children's National Assembly.

Through this mock session, you and your friends not only gain useful knowledge and skills, promote children's participation rights, and express your opinions and wishes to the National Assembly leaders. This session helps to awaken in you the desires and dreams about the path you will choose in the future as well as the desire to contribute more to the country.

According to Cat Tien, with that aspiration, she will try to balance studying and participating in movement activities, especially team activities. Team activities give her a lot of knowledge and practical skills; understand more about the pieces of life to train a pair of ears that know how to listen, a soul that knows how to speak and a heart that knows how to contribute to the homeland and country...

Young people do not hesitate to act

Speaking at the ceremony, First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee Bui Quang Huy said: the majority of Vietnamese youth today are very ambitious, have dreams, ambitions, good morals, are proactive, volunteer, creative, and actively participate in socio-economic development and national defense. That is the important basis for the feasibility of the 2045 aspiration.

The young faces honored are typical faces of today's youth. They are outstanding representatives of about 24 million Vietnamese youth, having surpassed many other award candidates to receive this prestigious title.

The typical and impressive faces have some common points, which are perseverance, diligence, seriousness, and steadfastness on the path they have chosen; these are indispensable provisions on the path to conquer achievements and become typical and excellent people.

Along with that, these are also people who dare to commit, dare to act, know how to apply the knowledge they have worked hard to gain into life. They are the authors of many initiatives, solutions, and projects that bring practical benefits to the community, to the unit, to the country.

The 10 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces and 9 Promising Young Vietnamese Faces honored are the clearest evidence of the aspirations of Vietnamese youth.

"From the examples honored today, the Central Youth Union Secretariat hopes that Vietnamese youth will always nurture their aspirations, set themselves a noble goal, nurture their determination and not hesitate to act to achieve their aspirations...", First Secretary of the Central Youth Union Bui Quang Huy advised.

The First Secretary of the Central Youth Union also requested that all levels of the Youth Union continue to perform their functions well, create a good training environment for young people, and be a companion to young people on the path to conquering new heights.
