Director of the Department of Home Affairs Le Minh Dao reported on the proposed plans to arrange administrative units at district and commune levels.
Ha Tinh currently has 13 district-level administrative units (DAUs) and 216 commune-level DAUs. Previously, in the 2019-2021 period, the province reorganized 80 commune-level DAUs, reducing 46/262 units.
According to central regulations, in the period of 2023 - 2030, Ha Tinh plans to reorganize 3 district-level administrative units and 89 commune-level administrative units.
At the meeting, the Department of Home Affairs - the standing agency of the Steering Committee reported and proposed plans to arrange administrative units at district and commune levels.
Delegates monitor the proposed plans for arranging administrative units.
The options are proposed based on calculations of area, population, geographical and cultural factors... and at the same time, ensuring compliance with provincial planning, rural planning, urban planning and related planning.

Discussing at the meeting, delegates also analyzed and gave detailed opinions on the arrangement options.
