The rapid development of e-commerce in recent times has had a strong impact on the logistics and delivery industry. The target of e-commerce revenue accounting for 10% of total retail revenue by 2025 is completely feasible, when the current growth rate is very positive,” said Tran Minh Tuan, Director of the Department of Digital Economy and Digital Society (Ministry of Industry and Trade).

J&T Express's new transit center is located in a strategic location, convenient for delivery and distribution of goods in the Northern provinces, meeting standard e-logistic operating standards, with a capacity of 24 million parcels/day.

The Hanoi transit center is the largest transit and cargo sorting center in the North of J&T Express Vietnam. With an area of ​​38,000m2, 23 inbound and 150 outbound gates, dozens of conveyor belts and modern cargo handling areas with control layers using the DWS system integrated with automatic barcode scanning, weighing and size checking, ensuring optimal service for large volumes of goods, promptly meeting customer needs, even during peak times.

In addition, the center is also equipped with specialized e-logistic standard equipment such as: Automatic goods sorting matrix system, from incoming goods to outgoing goods takes about 3 - 5 minutes for a loose package sorted through DWS; crossbelt system helps to automatically sort small packages with up to 99% accuracy; Crossbelt area loading machine system helps small package loading efficiency up to 99,000 orders/hour...

The equipped technologies not only help speed up the processing of goods but also minimize errors and improve the accuracy of delivery. Currently, J&T Express uses an average of 42,000 recycled bags per day nationwide, which can be reused many times, helping to reduce plastic waste emissions into the environment, indirectly cutting CO2 emissions. In addition, the business also responds to the project "Planting 1 billion trees" of the Vietnamese Government; in phase 1, it will participate in planting 15,000 new cajuput trees (melaleuca), helping to expand 1 hectare of alum-flooded cajuput forest in U Minh Thuong National Park (Kien Giang province). At the same time, efforts are made to "green" in business activities, such as: The program "Creating a green future" collects plastic waste for recycling, use as gifts; the program to build a Fund to support workers facing difficulties due to Covid-19...
