A Vietnamese rapper announced his withdrawal from the industry.

1ONLY (real name Pham Nhat Thanh) publicly apologized to Do Mixi, rapper QNT and those affected by the scandal at Dissneeland event. The male rapper said: "I want to send my sincere apologies to Do Mixi's family, who were directly affected by this incident. The punchlines serve the purpose of attacking opponents but use bad, incorrect information."

"When I was criticized, I realized my mistake. I accepted being attacked by the online community for my false statements. As Do Mixi shared, his family will be affected when they see the video. Therefore, I hope everyone stops spreading the video," 1ONLY continued.

Soon after, the male rapper announced his withdrawal from the 1337 Battle team and the Dissneeland community.

"From today, I officially withdraw from 1337 Battle and the Dissneeland community. I made this decision because I felt that I was not doing a good job as a Battle Rap enthusiast, and also negatively affected everyone, especially Mr. Do Mixi, Mr. QNT and their fans. Thank you for the past time, I wish 1337 Battle and the Dissneeland community continued growth," the rapper wrote.

1ONLY said that after the incident, his phone number and many members of the group received many harassing calls and orders for shipping. He announced his withdrawal to avoid involving others.

The incident happened when 1ONLY faced off against a rapper at a Dissneeland event, hosted by MC ILL (Hung Cao). This was a pre-arranged rap battle with a referee. The rappers would rap without a beat (no background music), with the goal of using rap lyrics to attack the opponent. Regardless of the content, as long as the rapper writes high-damage rap lines, it will convince the majority, especially the punchline (a heavy rap line).

1ONLY did not directly mention Do Mixi's name in the attacks. However, each of the rapper's hidden rap lyrics immediately made viewers think of Do Mixi. That was the way 1ONLY changed the word "mixi" to "ximi", or mentioned selling babythree and dried chicken, which were part of Do Mixi's job.

More seriously, 1ONLY used a bar to write about a woman who was betrayed by her husband and lost her family because of a "mistress". When watching this part, Do Mixi was shocked and said: "I'm just afraid that when my mother wakes up tomorrow morning, she will be shocked".

After the video was made public online, 1ONLY received fierce criticism from the rap community. Under tremendous pressure from the online community, MC ILL had to publicly apologize to Do Mixi, rapper QNT and the community supporting those involved.
