The final episode of the film Father's Gift aired on the evening of August 30 with a touching ending when all members of Mr. Nhan's family (Meritorious Artist Vo Hoai Nam) and Thao's (Ngoc Huyen) relatives watched her musical performance.
On the stage of the Summer Singing Contest, Thao appeared beautiful and pure in a white dress decorated with flowing flowers. The film ended with Mr. Nhan stepping onto the stage to give flowers and hug his daughter after an emotional performance.

Before that, the conflicts between the characters seemed to have been resolved. Thao and Yen (Mai Hue) had moments of confiding and expressing their feelings. Thanks to that, the audience understood that Yen was too jealous of Thao's talent, so she caused obstacles for her classmate.
As for Nghia's (Tuan Tu) debt, while he and his wife had tried their best but didn't know what to do, Mr. Nhan decided to sell the house so his son could pay off the debt and called all 3 children back to sign the house sale papers.
While Nghia, Thao and Hieu (Duy Khanh) all disagreed with this decision, Nghia received a phone call from his wife, informing him that his mother-in-law would lend him money to pay off his debt. Nghia's mother-in-law then took it upon herself to mend the long-broken in-law relationship with Mr. Nhan.

Also in the last episode, Hieu and Ninh "loe" (Thu Ha) confirmed their feelings for each other, calling each other "lovers". Meanwhile, Thao and Phuc (B Tran) still gave each other gentle looks and gentle care. Thao promised to take Phuc back to his hometown to visit his father in the near future.
However, it seems that many viewers still feel unsatisfied with the ending of Father's Gift . Many people think that the ending of the film is too hasty, "abrupt" and there are some issues that are not even answered.
In the final episode, Thao's karaoke room manager came to find Ninh "loe" to ask her why she was curious about the painting hanging on the wall because he had always told his employees not to approach the painting, and that anyone who violated the rule would be severely punished. However, because Thao had an important performance, he temporarily let Ninh "loe" go.
Besides, the character Phuc is also considered an "unknown". Right from the beginning, Phuc was built with the image of a handsome, rich, kind and loyal person. But the audience is curious about what Phuc is really like and what his family background is like.
The audience expressed their questions: "What's in Bo's painting? How did Bo handle Ninh?", "The movie ended before the knot was untied, disappointing", "The ending is too open, I think it's a bit of an "elephant head, mouse tail" ending. There are some unfulfilled happinesses before the movie ends", "Phuc is always a mysterious character but the movie is gentle, romantic and loving enough"...
Contacting young actress Thu Ha, she shared with Dan Tri reporter: "Because the film's duration is limited, the film will have to be accelerated to develop emotions and satisfy the audience's opinions (laughs). As for the film's ending, I think this is the most complete ending for everyone, better than leaving everything cut short."
Regarding the details of the painting, the actress also honestly said: "I was the one who peeled the back of the painting but actually I didn't know what was in the painting. I had just peeled a little bit when the director shouted "cut" (laughs). I asked a lot of questions but the crew didn't answer me."
Besides, Thu Ha could not reveal whether the movie will continue to make part 2 or not and refused to answer more about her role because it is related to the content of the movie.
