Ngoc Huyen said that the first time she came to the film set, she was overwhelmed and pressured. With the enthusiastic support of the crew, the cast in the film, especially Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy, Ngoc Huyen quickly caught up and made progress every day. Ngoc Huyen shared that not only in the film, Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy resembles her mother in real life.
“In the film, there is a scene where Nga’s mother (Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy) slaps Van Van (Ngoc Huyen). When filming that scene, my mother loved me like her own daughter. She encouraged me to try my best to act well in just one take. However, I had to receive 5 slaps to complete it. Not to mention the script, I cried because of the pain from my mother’s real slap,” Ngoc Huyen said.
The actress of Love on the Sunny Days affirms that she is seriously pursuing art. She seizes every opportunity and tries to learn every day.
According to Ngoc Huyen, competition and rivalry for roles in showbiz do exist and it manifests itself in two extremes. Competition is necessary and helps create motivation to rise. However, positive competition is fair competition, not trying to elevate oneself to put others down.
Ngoc Huyen admitted that she had been “played dirty” in that race but did not respond. “I have a different way of thinking, which is to focus on myself. I try to do well so that the director and the audience can see my ability. I do not care about the things around me, ” Ngoc Huyen said.
Having played the main role twice in VTV’s primetime dramas, Ngoc Huyen has received mixed opinions from the audience. Ngoc Huyen frankly admits that she still has many shortcomings. She reads the audience’s comments every day and considers them as suggestions.
“I am not afraid of the audience’s criticism. There are also correct assessments and comments such as many emotional scenes are not up to par, the character Thao needs to have more depth, more psychological. In many places, my dialogue is fast and disjointed. I frankly face my mistakes and shortcomings to change,” Ngoc Huyen confided.
I have a boyfriend
In a recent interview, Ngoc Huyen shared: “Love to me is a private concept, not accompanied by any objective constraints. I have witnessed many such love affairs around me. It is true that age or social status affects love, but it is not decisive. Therefore, I have a fairly open view on the issue of age when it comes to love. Not only am I concerned, but I also especially like to love people much older than me.”
When asked about her concept of liking to love someone much older on the show, Ngoc Huyen corrected that she likes mature people. “I think mature people can protect and shelter me. Later, I realized that thinking was not entirely correct. Maturity does not lie in age. There are people who are young but have experience. So it is not necessary to love someone much older,” Ngoc Huyen confided.
The actress added that she does not have a specific ideal type in love. They just need to be sincere, suitable, and know how to share and sympathize with her in life.
“Many people think that young actors work, have an image to find a rich man, have financial means. But I don’t. I like people who give me emotions, not caring about material things or age,” she emphasized.
Ngoc Huyen revealed that she has a boyfriend. He is quite mature in thinking, soul and civilized in behavior.
