On March 27, 2025, AIH American International Hospital officially introduced the program "1,000 free consultations and 12 surgeries for cancer patients", providing patients with the opportunity to receive in-depth examination and consultation by experienced doctors at home and abroad, right in Vietnam. Expected to be implemented throughout 2025, the program will provide free consultation and examination for 1,000 cancer patients or suspected breast, thyroid, lung and digestive system cancers. Within the framework of the program, an average of 64 patients will be examined from Monday to Thursday every week at AIH Hospital. Patients will be assessed for their health, advised on appropriate treatment regimens and guided on the next steps in the treatment process. One of the highlights of the program is the participation of Professor and Doctor Saijo Yasuo - a leading Japanese expert in the field of cancer treatment with over 40 years of experience. In particular, the program will support 12 cancer patients with surgical indications to receive free treatment, helping them access advanced treatment methods without worrying about costs. If needed, patients can participate in clinical evaluation and research programs at Raffles Hospital Singapore - one of the leading medical units in the region today in the field of cancer treatment.
