When opening the product box, the JBL speaker also comes with a specialized mount, an accessory that helps users attach the speaker to the handlebars of bicycles and motorbikes.
JBL Wind 3S has a compact design, easy to mount on bicycles
The speaker has a portable design, can fit in the palm of your hand and weighs only 230g. The entire speaker body is covered with rubber to prevent impact and scratches. The JBL logo stands out on the front with prominent buttons to increase and decrease the volume and pause the music, convenient for operation.
Experience shows that the JBL Wind 3S mount is easy to remove and install with just a few twists and screws. JBL provides 2 rubber pads with different thicknesses to fit a variety of handlebars from bicycles to large displacement motorcycles.
When cycling through various terrains, the JBL Wind 3S grips firmly. The large buttons on the front also make it convenient to increase or decrease the volume and pause the music.
When mounted on the bike, the speaker is well secured.
JBL Wind 3S meets IP67 dust and water resistance standards, can withstand underwater at a maximum depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.
The JBL Wind 3S has a 1.5-inch speaker with 5W output power, frequency response 110 Hz - 20 kHz. The speaker uses a 43 x 47 mm racetrack full-range driver that JBL claims will provide better sound quality than traditional round drivers.
Although small, the speaker volume is quite loud, comparable to its "seniors" such as JBL Go 3 or JBL Clip 4, and is clear and does not distort when the volume is turned up to maximum. The sound quality of Wind 3S still follows JBL's typical direction with a vibrant style, emphasizing the bass range with powerful sound quality.
The JBL Wind 3S has two distinct sound modes, one is "Bass" for indoor use focusing on full bass and bass - mid - treble ranges, and the other is "Sport" mode which is suitable for outdoor use, thanks to cutting all the bass range and boosting the mid and treble. To switch between these two modes, you need to hold down the music button until you hear a beep.
The hard keys on the speaker are large and easy to operate.
However, JBL Wind 3S does not have a mic, so users will not be able to receive calls or talk via Zalo or Messenger on this speaker.
In terms of battery life, the JBL Wind 3S has a 1,050 mAh battery that can play music continuously for 5 hours. It takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery when it runs out. In fact, when listening to music continuously at about 50% volume, in "Bass" mode, the speaker can play music continuously for about 4 hours and 45 minutes, close to the level announced by JBL.
In the Vietnamese market, the product is sold for 1.5 million VND.
