Contrary to the sell-off sentiment yesterday, today's session, investors held tight to their accounts and resolutely refused to sell stocks while buyers increased, willing to buy at ceiling prices. Because of the strong increase in demand while supply was low, the VN-Index continuously maintained an increase of about 6.7%, adding 73.1 points, to 1,167.4 points; the HXN-Index increased by nearly 16 points, equivalent to 8.22%, to 208.26 points. Notably, futures indices also simultaneously hit the ceiling, while the underlying index, the VN30, increased by 80.61 points to 1,249.29, equivalent to an increase of 6.9%.

Despite the strong price increase, the low selling volume resulted in low volume. On the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, there were nearly 278 million shares traded with a value of nearly VND5,000 billion. On the HNX Stock Exchange, the matched volume was more than 41.5 million shares with a value of nearly VND462 billion.

The stock market is in high spirits, rising the most in nearly 24 years. Ending the series of sharp declines in recent days. The news that US President Donald Trump is suspending the tariff policy towards other countries has caused the global stock market to increase sharply.
