Opening of Indian Film Week in Bac Ninh province in 2025

As part of the cultural exchange program between the Government of India and the Government of Vietnam, the Indian Film Week in Bac Ninh (taking place from March 25 to March 28) introduces to the audience four outstanding films of Indian cinema: RRR (Roar of Freedom) - an epic story about two revolutionaries fighting for freedom; Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (Live Only Once) - an inspirational work about friendship and meaningful experiences in life; English Vinglish (English, My Language) - a touching story about the journey of self-discovery of a housewife; Dangal (Female Wrestler) - an inspirational film about the extraordinary willpower of two female wrestlers and the sacrifice of their father. These are all works of high artistic value, helping the audience understand more about the country, people and culture of India.

The film week is a continuation of cultural and artistic exchange activities between Vietnam and India, marking an important step forward in the cultural exchange relationship between Bac Ninh province and India. Thereby, it demonstrates the provincial leaders' interest in international cooperation activities in the field of culture and art, helping the Bac Ninh public understand more about the country and people of India, contributing to further strengthening the solidarity and friendship between the two countries.

After the opening ceremony, delegates and movie lovers enjoyed the film RRR (Roar of Freedom) opening the film week.
