On March 2 (February 3 of the Lunar calendar), at the special national historical site of Cua Ong Temple, Cua Ong Ward (Cam Pha City), the Opening Ceremony of Cua Ong Temple Festival in February of the year At Ty 2025 took place.

Cua Ong Temple is a historical and cultural relic of the Tran Dynasty, associated with the legend of Hung Nhuong Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tang with his glorious feat of arms against foreign invaders in the borderland of the Fatherland. Cua Ong Temple was ranked as a special national historical relic in 2017.

The Cua Ong Temple Festival is held annually on the 3rd and 4th of the 2nd lunar month and the 3rd and 4th of the 8th lunar month to commemorate the merits, life and career of Duc Ong Hung Nhuong Vuong Tran Quoc Tang and many generals of the Tran Dynasty who fought the enemy and defended the border in the Northeast region. The festival was included in the list of national intangible cultural heritage by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2016.

This year's Cua Ong Temple Festival does not have a procession, but still has all the traditional rituals including the Offering Ceremony at Thuong Temple, Mau Temple, Trung Thien Long Mau Temple and the Closing Ceremony taking place on March 3, 2025 (February 4, At Ty year). The festival includes folk games such as: men's and women's tug of war; stick pushing; offering contest; human chess and boi chess competitions; blindfolded ball hitting game, art photo exhibition... attracting thousands of visitors to visit and worship.

The Cua Ong Temple Festival is an opportunity to introduce and promote the typical and unique values ​​of the special national historical relic Cua Ong Temple, a national intangible cultural heritage. At the same time, it introduces the potential, strengths, land and people of Cam Pha "Convergence of miner culture - Spreading the humanity of the coal region" to domestic and international friends; this is also an opportunity for each citizen of Cam Pha city and tourists to express the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source" and pray for a rich people and a strong country; arouse national pride, compassion and civic responsibility towards the homeland and country.
