Hanoi hotels simultaneously launch attractive promotions to attract customers

In order to attract domestic tourists to Hanoi, especially during the fall-summer season of 2024 and the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10), the Hanoi Department of Tourism has coordinated with the hotel system in Hanoi to implement the stimulus program "Hanoi people and tourists experience services at 4-5 star hotels in Hanoi".
Responding to the tourism stimulus program to attract visitors to experience, 4-5 star hotels in Hanoi have launched many preferential policies and tourism stimulus service packages.

At the meeting, a representative of JW Marriott Hotel said that with the strength of a hotel with green space, responding to the stimulus program, JW Marriott has built resort packages for families in the city. Families coming to JW Marriott can relax, experience the swimming pool, spa for parents, play area for children, ... in which, the hotel has designed many folk games combined with modern for customers to experience and explore Vietnamese culture.

Similarly, Grand Vista Hotel informed that this unit is prioritizing short-term combo packages because Hanoians often prioritize experiences on weekends, short stays, usually 1 night. Responding to the stimulus program, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, Fortuna, Novotel, Hanoi, Glory resort, Movenpick, Lotte, A25, Grand Mercue hotels also share many attractive products and services at reasonable prices.

Reflecting on the difficulties in implementing the program, hotels have a common opinion, which is how hotels can communicate product packages to Hanoians and Vietnamese tourists because in the minds of many people, the price of 5-star hotels is quite expensive.

Therefore, we hope that the Hanoi Department of Tourism will be the focal point connecting hotels with destinations and travel agencies to build short-term tours including accommodation, culinary experiences, city tours of Hanoi, night tours... at reasonable prices.

This is a way to guide Hanoi tourists to experience and explore Hanoi, while domestic and international tourists increase their stay in the capital. When there are good products and good price policies, there needs to be an attractive communication program that can reach customers.

In response to the hotels' recommendations, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism Nguyen Hong Minh affirmed that in order to bring high efficiency to the program, the Hanoi Department of Tourism will accompany and connect with hotels, Hanoi Tourism Corporation, press agencies, and media units to deploy a communication campaign from July 1.

Suggest 4-5 star hotels participating in the stimulus program unite, do not compete on price, build their own quality products and services that are suitable for each customer group. In addition, cooperate with Hanoi Tourism Corporation to build quality package tours to attract customers as well as coordinate with Hanoi Department of Tourism in a common communication campaign.

“The program “Hanoi people and tourists experience services at 4-5 star hotels in Hanoi” in 2024 is one of the activities within the overall program to stimulate domestic tourism and promote the image of Hanoi as a destination in 2024 of the Hanoi Department of Tourism. Thereby, it contributes to promoting the image and brand of hotels and resorts, while increasing the room occupancy rate at 4-5 star hotels in the capital,” Mr. Minh affirmed.
