The new Airbus A350-1000s will be used for long-haul flights to North America and Europe. With full operational commonality with the airline’s existing A350-900 fleet, the 10 new aircraft ensure seamless and efficient integration into the fleet. Airbus’ innovation not only enhances the flying experience, but also strengthens the airline’s position in the international aviation industry.

The world’s most modern and efficient widebody aircraft, the A350 sets new standards for intercontinental flights. It has the longest range of any commercial passenger aircraft in production today. Powered by the latest generation of Rolls-Royce engines, the A350 can fly non-stop for 9,700 nautical miles (18,000 km), using 25% less fuel and with 25% fewer carbon emissions than previous generation aircraft.

Like all Airbus aircraft, the A350 can operate on 50% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Airbus aims to use 100% SAF across its fleet by 2030.

The A350 Family has received more than 1,360 orders from 60 customers worldwide, with more than 640 aircraft in service with 38 airlines, mainly on long-haul flights.

China Airlines operates a wide range of Airbus aircraft across its network. It currently operates a fleet of 15 A350-900s on long-haul flights to Europe and the United States, as well as selected flights to Asia and the Pacific. It also operates 15 A321neos and 16 A330s on regional flights.

China Airlines currently has a network of flights to 192 destinations in 29 countries/regions, including 3 destinations in Vietnam: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
