On November 18, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuong, Director of the Quy Nhon City Public Service Management Board, said that he was coordinating with functional agencies to fix the landslide incident at Bau Sen Lake (Le Hong Phong Ward, Quy Nhon City).
The landslide location at Bau Sen Lake is located near a residential area.
At around 4:30 p.m. on November 17, a section of Bau Sen Lake shore collapsed. A lot of soil, rocks, and trees along the lakeside fell into the lake.
The sidewalk at the landslide section was severely damaged.
According to people living near Bau Sen Lake, there has been a large crack in the area where the landslide occurred for many months. In recent days, Quy Nhon City has had continuous rain and strong winds, causing large trees in the area to fall, bringing down the entire lake shore.
Landslides caused many trees and electric poles to fall into the lake.
The landslide at Bau Sen Lake not only seriously damaged a section of the lake shore wall but also damaged an electric pole and a section of the sidewalk.
