On the morning of February 13, on National Highway 19, through Tay Son District (Binh Dinh), a serious traffic jam occurred. Specifically, a large number of passenger cars and trucks gathered, causing the traffic jam to last for many hours.
Traffic jams stretched for several kilometers, starting from the Ba La bridge construction intersection (Tay Giang commune, Tay Son district), occurring in both lanes.
Mr. D.P (a resident of Tay Son District) said: "In the morning, traffic jams are very serious, by early afternoon it is better but people still have many difficulties traveling on this route."

Currently, the Ba La bridge is still under construction and upgrading. This is a project under the project to enhance traffic connectivity in the Central Highlands region, invested by Project Management Board 2 (under the Ministry of Transport).
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Vang, Deputy Head of the Traffic Police Department of Binh Dinh Province Police, said that on the morning of February 13, the Traffic Police Department sent forces to the scene to regulate traffic. The traffic jam was caused by the Ba La Bridge section being under construction while there was a large amount of traffic. "This afternoon (February 13), traffic on National Highway 19 was basically clear," Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Vang informed.
Recently, Thanh Nien Newspaper has continuously reported on the shortcomings in the implementation of the project to enhance traffic connectivity in the Central Highlands region such as: roads higher than houses, construction causing cracks in houses, constantly asking for extensions... causing frustration among the people.
