Not long ago, during The Ruby Experience tour in the US, Jennie (Blackpink) became the center of controversy when she wore a bodysuit made of thin material, causing her to have an unattractive image.

Despite criticism on social media, Jennie still maintains her position in the fashion industry. She continues to be chosen as the face of the French fashion house's Chanel 25 handbag campaign.

As Chanel's global ambassador since 2017, Jennie has become so close to the brand that she has been nicknamed "Human Chanel" and has been featured in many of the French fashion house's new product promotion campaigns such as the Coco Neige campaign from 2021, the Coco Crush 2024 jewelry campaign...
Along with singer Dua Lipa, Jennie was chosen as the face of the Chanel 25 handbag campaign.

For Jennie, the theme of this promotional campaign reflects her approach to fashion and performance.
"The Chanel 25 campaign is strong but also playful. That's the spirit that I've always pursued as an artist. So I feel very in tune with this campaign in many ways," she said.

"The Chanel 25 bag represents freedom and versatility. It easily adapts to my daily life, providing comfort while maintaining my own style. This is the perfect bag to carry anytime, from work, travel to everyday moments," Jennie shared.

In this promotional campaign, Jennie appears in a short film directed by Gordon von Steiner - the man behind many of Chanel's artistic commercials.
Throughout the clip, Jennie moves rhythmically between the vibrant streets of Manhattan and the studio space, to the music of She drives me crazy by Fine Young Cannibals.

The campaign's accompanying photos were shot by photographer David Sims, with a minimalist style that celebrates the modernity of the new bag line.

The Chanel 25 handbag campaign shows Jennie's position in the fashion industry is very high and solid. Despite her inappropriate clothing choices, Jennie is still favored by leading fashion brands.
