According to Bloomberg , the iPhone SE 4 will launch as early as early 2025. This will be the first update to the iPhone SE since 2022.

iPhone SE 4 retains the same design with a single camera but is upgraded to a 48MP lens.

The report said that the iPhone SE 4 will use a high-end OLED screen, the frame is similar to the iPhone 14, the front is a "rabbit ear" screen and there is no physical Home button, while the back has the same design as the iPhone 16. However, the SE 4 does not have a dual camera cluster but still uses a single camera upgraded to 48MP.

The fourth generation low-cost iPhone model will support Apple Intelligence features. This is also an important highlight that users are particularly interested in.

The device has a 6.1-inch screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, supports face scanning with Face ID instead of Touch ID security; 12MP quality selfie camera, USB-C port, Action button, 5G modem designed by Apple.

Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman said the iPhone SE 4 is expected to come with 8GB of RAM, up from 4GB on its predecessor.

For comparison, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus only have 6GB of RAM. This is probably why the iPhone SE 4 can run Apple Intelligence features, while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus cannot.

With a predicted price of under $500 (about 12.5 million VND), iPhone SE 4 promises to bring about a surge in iPhone sales for Apple in 2025.

While the iPhone 16 series will launch next September, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to go into mass production from October and could be released in January 2025 (before Lunar New Year).
