Accordingly, iOS 18.4 is expected to be released in April with a series of Apple Intelligence improvements for Siri, including deeper control by application and user context. However, users still have to wait more than a year to receive a series of new improvements for Siri.
Mark Gurman previously said that iOS 19 would introduce a more conversational version of Siri, powered by more advanced large language models.
Gurman revealed that the upgrade will make Siri more like ChatGPT, allowing it to handle complex requests and respond better in conversations, but the feature won't be available until spring 2026 at the earliest.
To use the improved Siri features, users must have a device from iPhone 15 Pro or later to be compatible with Apple Intelligence.
