[Infographic] 9 Global Young Parliamentarians' Conferences

NDO - From 2014 to 2022, there have been 8 Global Young Parliamentarians' Conferences held with different themes. The National Assembly of Vietnam will host the 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Hanoi from September 14-17, 2023, with the theme "The role of youth in promoting the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals through digital transformation and innovation". In 2014, the Inter-Parliamentary Union ( IPU ) established the annual Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians to contribute to: strengthening the role of young parliamentarians and youth participation in parliamentary activities and making recommendations from the perspective of young people on the activities and agenda of the IPU; building networks, solidarity and capacity building, and expanding the approach of young people to issues of common concern. To date, 8 global conferences have been held with different themes.
