Kong Chro district educates tradition for the young generation through red addresses

Since the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 93/QD-TTg dated January 18, 2022 on the ranking of special national relics, including the historical relic cluster of the House Foundation, Lake and Ong Nhac's Treasury belonging to the Tay Son Thuong Dao relic complex in Hlang village, Yang Nam commune, Kong Chro district. The District People's Committee has directed functional units to do a good job of preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritage, in order to educate the tradition of patriotism and the spirit of fighting for independence of our ancestors for future generations to learn.

The special national historical site of Mr. Nhac's House, Lake and Vault in Hlang Village, Yang Nam Commune, Kong Chro District is a "Red Address" that contributes to educating revolutionary traditions, fostering love for the homeland and country, and national pride for all classes of people, creating a combined strength, and successfully carrying out local political tasks.

The issue of preserving and promoting cultural heritages, especially special national historical relics in Kong Chro district, is an extremely important goal, contributing to preserving and promoting the value of the nation's cultural heritage, promoting socio-economic development, improving spiritual and cultural life, educating the younger generation and arousing national pride.

From 2024 to present, Kong Chro District Youth Union has coordinated with the District Culture, Information and Sports Center to organize a journey to the red address, attracting 170 students and youth union members to participate. Thereby, it aims to promote traditional education, foster revolutionary ideals, arouse in youth union members and team members the tradition of remembering the source of water when drinking, creating strong motivation for youth union members to strive and practice, raise awareness of cultural heritage, through historical and cultural relics, foster ideological stance, foster patriotism, create conditions for youth union members and team members, children to visit and learn about the special national historical relic cluster: House foundation, Lake and Mr. Nhac's Treasury.

Youth Union members and students join the journey to "Red Address"

In March 2025, practically make achievements to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Kong Chro District Party Committee (March 15, 1950 - March 15, 2025); the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Gia Lai Province (March 17, 1975 - March 17, 2025); the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025); respond to the movement "Kong Chro children compete to follow Uncle Ho's five teachings"; the movement "thousands of good deeds". Accordingly, Kong Chro District Youth Union coordinated with related units to organize a journey to the red address with many innovations compared to 2024. That is, at this journey, the Yang Nam Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities organized a ceremony to admit 19 outstanding children of class 3b to the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Team. After being admitted to the Team, Dinh Thi Thoi, on behalf of the outstanding team members, read the Team member promise. The children were very happy, excited and full of smiles on their faces when they wore red scarves on their shoulders. “I am very happy and honored to be admitted to the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team. I will try to practice the five teachings of Uncle Ho, comply with the Charter, and preserve the honor of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team. We also heard the teachers introduce the history of the relics of the House Foundation, the Lake, and the Money Vault of the Father-in-law. We are very proud of the heroic tradition of the Tay Son peasant uprising movement on the land of Kong Chro,” Dinh Thi Thoi shared.

After the admission ceremony, the Executive Committee of the Yang Nam Commune Youth Union organized a ceremony to admit new members to the Youth Union for 22 outstanding young people in the commune, aiming to build and consolidate the grassroots Youth Union organization and maintain the strength of the Youth Union members, build solidarity, gather young people to participate in the movement activities which are always exciting. Immediately after the admission ceremony, comrade Dinh Cu - Secretary of the Yang Nam Commune Youth Union presented the Youth Union membership book and the Youth Union badge to the new members. The Youth Union members were very proud and excited to be in the ranks of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, and will compete to study, practice and nurture their dreams, ambitions and aspirations, contributing to bringing the country into a new era.

Therefore, preserving and promoting the values ​​of historical relics in the district is a concrete expression of our patriotism and gratitude to our ancestors, cultivating the good traditions of our ancestors, becoming a tourist destination that lives forever in the hearts of the people of the upper region with the heroic career of the Tay Son brothers on this land, which is the origin, preserved and passed down to future generations.
