The Chinese fireworks team opened the 4th night of DIFF 2024, impressing the audience with a performance called "Summer Song". Inspired by traditional hand embroidery, the Chinese fireworks team weaved majestic, charming and captivating images and landscapes into the night sky of the Han River, captivating visitors. The unique techniques and sounds combining traditional fireworks art and modern creativity brought the audience many emotions with a romantic summer song on the Han River, Da Nang. The artistic fireworks burst out, painting brilliant colors on the background of Chinese music, bringing the audience closer to the scenery and culture of China.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hang, a tourist from Tra Vinh, said: “This is the third time I have watched the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival. I was truly overwhelmed with emotion when I watched the Chinese team perform. Everything came together in tonight’s performance. The sound and light all came together to give me a great feeling.”
As the champion of DIFF 2019, the Finnish fireworks team took the audience into the magical space of “A Million Dreams”. The unique and vibrant combination of top-notch fireworks with romantic and vibrant music melodies brought the audience many interesting surprises. In particular, the Finnish team had an impressive performance with unique techniques and effects combining fireworks and water for the first time at DIFF.
Mr. Dang Van Duong from Nam Dinh came to Da Nang city to watch the 4th night of DIFF 2024 and commented: “This year's fireworks competition, each team brought its own unique identity. I was personally impressed with the performance of the Finnish team. This is the first time I have come to Da Nang city for tourism and I am honored to attend such a beautiful fireworks show.”
With performances depicting the “Fairy World” on the 4th competition night, the two teams from China and Finland concluded the competition of 8 teams at DIFF 2024. The 8 impressive performances of the teams during this year’s fireworks festival season left unforgettable impressions on the audience. The final night of DIFF 2024 with the theme “Future Pulse” took place on the evening of July 13 with performances by the two best teams selected by the jury and announced on June 30.
Painter Ho Dinh Nam Kha, Chairman of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association in Da Nang, member of the DIFF 2024 Jury, commented: “The fairy world, this theme depicts the fireworks displays of China and Finland. The audience is lost in a fairy space in the sky with artistic lights and music, creating a world full of fairy scenery. The performance of the two teams is the final show. This is the part for the jury to evaluate in general, overall, and give accurate scores.”
After 12 times of organization, Da Nang International Fireworks Festival - DIFF has become a unique cultural and tourism product.
