On the afternoon of April 13, the People's Committee of Hoa Hai Ward (Ngu Hanh Son District) announced that the forces coordinated with local people to find the body of the remaining victim in the case of twin brothers who drowned while swimming at Tan Tra Beach (Hoa Hai Ward). The victim's body will be brought back to Hoa Son Commune (Hoa Vang District) for burial by the family.
Earlier, at 9:00 a.m. the same day, local authorities called for and mobilized more than 20 flycam flying devices to observe from above and search for victims.

After many hours of coordination between search forces, at about 1:05 p.m. on April 13, the body of the remaining victim (the twin brother) was discovered in the sea in front of a tourist area next to Truong Sa Street.

Previously, at 10 p.m. on April 12, search forces found the bodies of the twin brothers near Non Nuoc beach, about 1 km from the scene of the accident.
Mr. Huynh Quang Trung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Hai Ward, said that the family circumstances of the two twins who had the accident were very difficult. The parents of the two children were manual laborers, while the mother worked as a janitor and had to live in a rented house in Hoa Hai Ward.
As Thanh Nien reported, at 9:00 a.m. on April 12, the People's Committee of Hoa Hai Ward received a report that someone had drowned while swimming in the sea. The two students who were in the accident were PGB and PBT (14 years old, twin brothers, 8th grade students at Huynh Ba Chanh Secondary School, Hoa Hai Ward) who went with a group of friends to Tan Tra beach area located along Truong Sa Street (Hoa Hai Ward) to swim in the sea.
While bathing, B. and T. were unfortunately swept away by the waves and went missing. Upon discovering the incident, the group of friends who were with them called for help from nearby residents, but it was too late.
Police, militia, border guards, the Management Board of Son Tra Peninsula and Da Nang tourist beaches, staff of surrounding resorts and local people actively participated in searching for the whereabouts of the twin brothers swept away by the water.
